About us

Minu Sportlane is a crowdfunding platform created by the Estonian Olympic Committee (EOK) that gives everyone the opportunity to contribute to the success of Estonian athletes. Our goal is to create a transparent, commission-free, and community-based support system that helps Estonian athletes reach the highest international level—with the support of the entire nation.

The platform connects athletes, clubs, and sports federations with their supporters—individuals, sponsors, and sports enthusiasts. Every contribution goes 100% directly to the athlete or organization—without intermediary fees and under the supervision of the EOK.

Minu Sportlane means:

  1. Trustworthy support with clearly trackable impact,
  2. The chance to be part of an athlete’s journey—both financially and emotionally,
  3. A new way for Estonia to support its athletes.

Our Mission

To deliver a secure crowdfunding platform that lets Estonian athletes, clubs, and federations raise private capital. Every Estonian can join an athlete’s success story—back their medal and share the journey.

Our Vision

By 2030, to be an inseparable part of Estonia’s sports ecosystem, uniting the support of the state, sponsors, and individuals to collectively bring blue-black-white to international podiums.

Joining the Platform

The next project application round for the Minu Sportlane platform is open throughout March, and applications can be submitted until the end of the month.

The aim of the application round is to find athlete projects that are ready to engage the community and supporters through the Minu Sportlane platform. Selected projects will be prepared for publication on the platform, with the expected launch planned for the second half of April 2026.

Athletes, groups of athletes, clubs, and teams are invited to submit their projects.

It is important that the project’s content and objective are clearly defined: what the project aims to achieve and how crowdfunding will help accomplish that goal. A well-thought-out project helps attract supporters who value seeing the impact of their contribution and being part of an athlete’s development journey and achievements.

The project must be submitted through the application form.

Applications will be accepted until 31 March 2026.

Partner Organization

Every project published on the Minu Sportlane platform must be associated with a partner organization. A partner organization can be a non-profit association or foundation that is included in the list of organizations eligible for income tax benefits, and through which project donations are received and managed.

The partner organization confirms the athlete’s connection to the organization and is responsible for managing the funds collected through the project and ensuring transparency in how the money is used.

Important Steps After Submitting the Application

After the application is submitted, projects undergo an initial review. If the application meets the platform’s requirements, a meeting with the Estonian Olympic Committee will be arranged.

During the meeting:

  1. the project’s content and objectives are discussed,
  2. the project’s marketing plan is clarified,
  3. the next steps for preparing the project are agreed upon.

The goal of the preparation phase is to ensure that the project published on the platform is clear, transparent, and understandable for supporters.

Requirements for the Project

A project submitted to the platform must meet the following conditions:

  1. the project duration must be clearly defined;
  2. the financial beneficiary of the project must be an athlete, group of athletes, or a team;
  3. a marketing plan must be prepared for the project and coordinated with the Estonian Olympic Committee;
  4. the project must include a clear budget, including the expected amount of support to be raised through the platform;
  5. the cost structure must be transparent — the project’s objective, budget, and fundraising target will be published on the platform;
  6. regular reports must be submitted regarding the use of the funds collected for the project.

Support and Reporting

If a project is selected for the platform, the Estonian Olympic Committee will sign a partnership agreement with the project organizer, and the project will be published on minusportlane.ee.

Individuals and companies can support published projects via a payment link or other available methods, and the funds will be transferred directly to the Partner, who will then forward the full amount to the athlete (only transaction fees may be deducted).

Athletes are required to submit quarterly reports on the use of funds received through the Platform to the Partner, who must publish the report on the Platform no later than the end of the following month.

For more details about reporting obligations and other requirements, see the ÜHISRAHASTUSPLATVORMI ÜLDTINGIMUSED.
